What is a GTM skill?
A GTM skill is a reusable instruction file that teaches an AI assistant like Claude or ChatGPT to do one go-to-market job well — score a sales call, write a cold email, review a pipeline. Unlike a one-off prompt, a skill defines the inputs it needs, the workflow to follow, the exact output format and the quality checks to pass, so the whole team gets consistent results instead of prompt roulette.
Skills use an open format — a single SKILL.md file — that Claude, ChatGPT, OpenAI's Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor and 20+ other tools now run natively. For maximum portability, every skill here also ships as a paste-once ChatGPT Project version. And this is where GTM work actually happens now: in the 2026 State of AI for GTM survey, 91% of GTM leaders said they run their AI workflows on general-purpose assistants like ChatGPT and Claude rather than niche point tools.
Every skill below passes one bar: it works with pasted inputs — a call transcript, a CRM export, meeting notes — and zero integrations. If your assistant has web search or CRM connectors it will use them, but no skill in this library depends on them.
All 22 skills at a glance
Find prospects
Define who to target, research accounts, and build qualified lists.
ICP Builder
Turns your won, lost, and churned customer evidence into trigger-based ICP cards with a 100-point scoring matrix, A–D tiers, explicit disqualifiers, and list-building filters.
Account Research Brief
Turns a company name plus pasted materials into a one-page outreach brief: sourced snapshot, ranked why-now triggers, pain hypotheses, discovery questions, and red flags.
Lead List Qualifier
Scores a pasted lead list against your ICP rubric and appends a 0–100 score, A–D tier, a reason citing the row's own data, and a next action to every lead — gaps reported, never filled.
Trigger Event Scout
Classifies company news into ten fixed sales trigger types with urgency, decay windows, and outreach angle stubs — or builds a trigger playbook for your ICP.
Reach prospects
Write outreach that sounds like you did the homework — because the AI actually did.
Cold Email Writer
Writes evidence-anchored cold emails: three 60–90 word variants (direct, pain-led, trigger-led) with subject lines, a spam-trigger check, and deliverability heuristics — and refuses fake personalization.
Outbound Sequence Builder
Designs a 4–6 touch, 8–12 day sequence across email, LinkedIn, and phone, drafts every email, connection note, call opener, and voicemail, and maps the exact next move for all six reply types.
LinkedIn Outreach Writer
Writes channel-native LinkedIn outreach: a ≤300-character connection request with no pitch, both DM paths (reply vs silent accept), an optional comment-first warm-up, and a 5-point profile checklist.
Inbound Lead Responder
Drafts answer-first replies to inbound leads in under 120 words — their question answered, one or two qualifying questions, one next step — plus a hot/warm/misfit routing call with quoted evidence.
Run better calls
Walk into every discovery call prepared, and leave with clean CRM notes.
Discovery Call Prep
Turns account research and meeting details into a one-page prep sheet: 2–3 pain hypotheses with the question that tests each, a timed agenda, framework gaps to fill, and the exact next-step ask.
Call Notes → CRM
Files a call in two minutes: a CRM-paste block with every field tagged Said, Interpreted or Unknown, next steps with owners and dates, framework gaps, a handoff note, and a ≤120-word follow-up.
Follow-Up Email Writer
Writes the follow-up for any deal moment — discovery or demo recap, proposal nudge, gone-quiet re-engagement in three styles, or a multi-thread intro — each ≤150 words with one dated ask.
Learn from every call
Score calls, mine objections, and turn transcripts into coaching.
Sales Call Analyzer
Scores any call transcript against MEDDPICC, BANT or SPICED with a quote behind every number, grades objection handling, and returns CRM-ready notes plus a recap email.
Objection Handling Coach
Mines call transcripts for objection patterns in a fixed seven-category taxonomy, grades every rep response, and coaches five-step talk tracks with a practice mode that plays a skeptical buyer.
Win/Loss Analyzer
Runs quoted, evidence-grounded post-mortems on won and lost deals, separates stated reasons from what the record supports, and rolls patterns into sales-, product- and marketing-owned fixes.
Call Coaching Scorecard
Scores 1–5 of a rep's calls on four anchored dimensions with a quote behind every score, tracks the trend between reviews, and returns a coaching card with exactly one focus behaviour and a drill.
Pipeline & forecast
Spot at-risk deals, run tighter pipeline reviews, and defend your number.
MEDDPICC Deal Qualifier
Qualifies one deal from all its notes and emails: per-letter scores with source quotes, Confirmed-vs-Assumed confidence, the question that closes each gap, and an advance / develop / disqualify call.
Deal Risk Reviewer
Audits one deal against ten fixed risk categories with evidence behind every flag, then hands you severities, save plays, a three-action save plan, and a commit / best case / pipeline call.
Pipeline Review Runner
Turns a CRM export into a run-ready pipeline meeting: per-deal hygiene flags, coverage against quota, a top-10 focus list with one question per deal, stalled-deal calls, and a 30-minute agenda.
Forecast Review
Pressure-tests every commit deal on four evidence checks, scans best case for upgrades, and returns a roll-up vs quota, scenario bands with named assumptions, and a ≤200-word leadership narrative.
RevOps & enablement
Diagnose the funnel, prep QBRs, and arm the team with battle cards.
Funnel Diagnostics
Turns a stage-conversion table into a leverage-ranked bottleneck verdict with the math shown, a fixed cause checklist, and a 3–5 experiment backlog scored with ICE.
QBR Builder
Turns a quarter's numbers into an internal sales QBR: a 3-bullet TL;DR, a scoreboard with QoQ deltas, graded prior commitments, a 3-commitment plan with owners, and an 8–10 slide outline.
Battlecard Builder
Builds a one-page competitive battlecard from your calls, win/loss notes, and public sources — every claim dated and sourced, an honest where-they-win section, fair landmines, and objection responses.
How to install these skills
In Claude
- 1Download the skill's .zip from its page — it contains the SKILL.md file.
- 2On claude.ai, open Settings → Features (Capabilities on some plans), make sure code execution is on, and upload the zip under Skills.
- 3In Claude Code, unzip it into ~/.claude/skills/ instead — or .claude/skills/ inside a repo to share it with your team.
- 4Then just describe the task. Claude loads the matching skill automatically; you never invoke it by name.
In ChatGPT
- 1Copy the skill's ChatGPT version — every one fits ChatGPT's 8,000-character Project instructions limit.
- 2Create a Project named after the skill, paste it into the Project's instructions, and run every task of that type inside that Project.
- 3On plans with ChatGPT Skills, you can instead paste the SKILL.md body under Plugins → Skills and invoke it with @skill-name.
The same files work in Gemini, Copilot and any assistant that accepts long instructions — SKILL.md is an open standard. One thing not to do: don't wrap these as custom GPTs, which OpenAI retires in December 2026.

GTM skills, answered
What is a GTM skill?
A GTM skill is a reusable instruction file that teaches an AI assistant like Claude or ChatGPT how to do one go-to-market job well — scoring a sales call, writing a cold email, reviewing a pipeline. Unlike a one-off prompt, a skill defines the inputs it needs, the workflow to follow and the exact output format, so results stay consistent across the whole team.
Do these skills work with ChatGPT or only with Claude?
Both. Every skill ships in two formats: a SKILL.md file you upload to Claude (claude.ai, Claude Code or the API) and a version sized for a ChatGPT Project's 8,000-character instructions field. SKILL.md itself is an open standard that ChatGPT's Skills feature, OpenAI's Codex, Gemini CLI and 20+ other tools also read, so one download covers most of your stack.
How do I install a Claude skill?
Download the skill's zip and upload it on claude.ai under Settings → Features → Skills (code execution must be enabled). In Claude Code, unzip it into ~/.claude/skills/ instead. Claude then loads the skill automatically whenever your request matches its description — you don't call it by name.
Are the skills really free?
Yes. Every skill on this page is free to read, copy, download and adapt — no sign-up. The optional all-in-one pack asks for a work email so we can tell you when new skills are added; that is the only gate anywhere in the library.
Do I need any integrations or a specific CRM?
No. Every skill works on pasted inputs: a call transcript, a CRM export (CSV), meeting notes or a company name. If your AI assistant has web search or CRM connectors, the skills will use them when available — but none of them require any tool, vendor or data subscription.
How is a skill different from a prompt?
A prompt is a one-off instruction; a skill is a packaged workflow. A skill carries a when-to-use description, required inputs, a step-by-step method, an output template and quality rules (like "never invent facts that aren't in the transcript"), so anyone on the team gets the same result without prompt-crafting. Assistants also load skills automatically when the task matches, which a pasted prompt can't do.
Can I use these as a custom GPT?
We don't recommend it. OpenAI announced that custom GPTs retire on December 11, 2026, with their instructions migrating into plugin skills. Use a ChatGPT Project (works on every plan) or ChatGPT Skills (business plans) instead — both paths are covered on every skill page here.
Who maintains this library?
